Example of a Switched Circuit
A switched circuit is used in Telecommunications to make a connection between two points. For the duration fo the communication this path will be used, even if others are availiable. Once the communication is ended the path is severed and a new one created the next time communicaiton between two devices is necessary. Genereally, this has been used in telephone networks.
